Workplace Violence Prevention Program

The Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP) ensures that Lindsay Unified provides a safe environment for employees and the public, free from threats, intimidation, harassment, retaliation, and violence. Every employee is responsible for practicing safety, following policies and procedures, and maintaining a secure workplace.

Lindsay Unified School District is committed to maximizing employee safety and preventing workplace violence. Our policies and procedures are designed to achieve this goal. Safety in the workplace is everyone's responsibility, and Lindsay Unified will not tolerate any form of violence or threats. To ensure the success of the WVPP, all violent incidents, whether or not they result in physical injury, must be promptly and accurately reported.

In the event of encountering workplace violence, individuals are encouraged to utilize available resources, such as the LUSD Violence Incident Form. By completing this form and submitting to the Human Resources Department, individuals ensure that appropriate measures are taken to address their concerns and maintain a safe working environment for everyone.
