California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP)

In Spring 2017 all Lindsay learners grades 3-8 and 11 took part in the 2017 California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP), the new computer-based tests for English language arts/literacy and mathematics that replaced the former paper-based tests in these subjects.  These new exams are part of California's comprehensive plan for supporting high-quality learning at every school.  They are based on California's new, more challenging Common Core academic standards, which are designed to help all learners graduate ready for college and to pursue a career.

In addition, learners in grades 5, 8 and 10 were administered the Pilot of the California Science Test (CAST). 

Parents should be receiving their child's achievement results (Student Score Reports) by mail during the summer of 2017.   More information about understanding your child's results are available in the Parent Guides listed below:
